The Maryland Department of Planning prepares and assists with customizing maps and statistical data reports needed to develop the Congressional and State Legislative redistricting plans, as well as providing staff support to the Governor's office and the Governor's Redistricting Advisory Committee.

 

Local redistricting plans are handled by local jurisdictions. Local boards of election, as listed by the Maryland State Board of Elections website, should be able to direct you to the groups handling the redistricting process at the local level. The State Board of Elections is also responsible for conducting elections based on the new redistricted boundary lines.
